Sally recently spent three weeks in Brisbane thanks to a May Gibbs Children's Literature Trust Creative Time Fellowship. As well as working on a novel, she spent a fun afternoon making lanterns with children at the State Library, culminating in a lively lantern parade, conducted writing and illustration workshops with school groups, and spoke at a High Tea for the Trust.
